The session was recorded during the band's European tour when they were the openers for Foo Fighters. VPRO is a Dutch radio station, and before the band's show at the Paradiso in Amsterdam, they stopped by and played some TNWWL tracks, as well as Built To Spill off of UAW. This session is particularly interesting because it features the 'Lync' lineup of James Bertram on bass and Dave Schneider on drums, who were both members of the Olympia Post-hardcore band Lync. John McMahon playing the cello is also present as a 4th member. Early in the set, a very timid-sounding Doug is interviewed about the new album. During the interview, they talk about their show at the Paradiso, which luckily was recorded and has already been posted.
