https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRTsgW7g6CQ 【NSDI '21】Unifying Timestamp with Transaction Ordering for MVCC with Decentralized Scalar Timestamp 论文链接:https://ipads.se.sjtu.edu.cn/_media/publications/dst-nsdi21.pdf 论文内容:该工作关注的是在分布式事务处理中,如何避免使用一个额外的中心服务器为事务分配和管理时间戳,并支持高效且一致的只读事务。一个中心的服务器会为事务处理带来额外的网络开销,同时可能会成为事务系统的瓶颈。Decentralized Scalar Timestamp (DST)是我们提出的新型分布式时间戳方法。DST利用了这样一个观察:可借助事务的并发处理协议(如2PL)来计算和维护时间戳,从而避免与中心服务器的网络通信。通过对一系列系统和并发控制方法的评测,包括MySQL cluster (2PL) 、DrTM+R (OCC)等,结果表明,DST能够将只读事务的性能提升1.7-9.7倍,同时对读写事务基本没有性能影响。
