It’s been about 40 years since we first embarked on this wonderful adventure, hence, starting from the following quote by Norma Miller, I wish you good listening: "The Lindy Hop was created in Harlem at the Savoy Ballroom with black dancers, to the sound of the big bands, and although Harlem created it, the Lindy belongs to every-one". The author: Maurizio "Big Daddy" Meterangelo. Band leader, singer and double bass player of the "Billy Bros. Swing Orchestra", board member of the Italian Swing Dance Academy, Swing dances teacher, DJ, MC, lecturer, Swing historian, journalist, translator. Big Daddy has spent 4 years in close daily contact with the late Miss Norma Milller, the Queen of Swing, talking about stories and anecdotes of 100 years of life spent with the greats of Jazz, Swing, Cabaret and Lindy Hop.
